Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chopped lettuce
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 c. frozen green peas
    1 1/2 c. fat-free mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. low-fat Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a 9 x 13-inch dish, layer lettuce, green peppers, onions, celery and green peas.
    Spread mayonnaise over top of the vegetable layers and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar.
    Sprinkle grated cheese on top of mayonnaise.
    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
