    3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 3/4 c. quick-cooking oats
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 c. egg substitute
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. applesauce
    fresh apple bits, chopped dates or raisins
