Rutabaga And Apple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cubed, pared rutabaga
    1 medium apple, pared, cored and sliced
    6 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook rutabaga in boiling salted water for 25 minutes; drain. Place 1/2 rutabaga and 1/2 apple in 1-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 brown sugar; dot with 1/2 butter.
    Sprinkle with salt. Repeat layers.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
