Buttermilk Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. warm mashed potatoes
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    1 c. buttermilk
    6 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Add sugar to eggs; beat well.
    Stir in potatoes, butter and buttermilk.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Chill one hour.
    Roll 1/3 at a time.
    Let raise 10 minutes and fry in hot oil or Crisco.
