Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. walnut extract
1 c. milk
1 c. walnuts, broken
4 eggs (large)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Stir in vanilla and walnut extracts, then milk.
Add lightly beaten eggs; mix.
Add and blend walnuts into batter.
Pour into 3 greased and floured 3 x 9-inch cake baking pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until done (about 26 minutes).
