Cheddar Apple Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg.
Beat in apple pie filling.
Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Add sifted dry ingredients, cheese and nuts to batter.
Mix quickly and pour into well-greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
