Seven-Up Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
3/4 c. 7-Up
3 Tbsp. lemon flavor
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar in a mixer bowl.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour to cream mixture alternately with 7-Up, beating after each addition.
Stir in lemon flavor and beat well.
Pour mixture into a greased and lightly floured 10-inch tube cake pan.
Bake in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool thoroughly on wire rack.
