Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
9 medium peaches
1/3 c. water
baked pie shell
Preparation

In small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in 3 medium peeled and mashed peaches and water.
Cook until thickened and bubbly.
Cook 2 minutes, remove from heat.
Cover surface with plastic wrap; cool.
Spread 1/4 cup mixture in bottom of baked pie shell, reserve 1/3 cup of the mixture; set aside.
