Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. ground ginger
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. molasses
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar and beat in egg and molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add.
    Mix well.
    Cool.
    Form in small balls and roll in sugar.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Batter may be kept for days in covered bowl in refrigerator.
