Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. rice
    cinnamon and butter to taste
Preparation
    Cook milk and rice 1 hour in a double boiler.
    Add salt and most of the sugar and cook 5 more minutes.
    Add vanilla and stir. Remove from heat and put in baking dish.
    Sprinkle with remaining sugar and some cinnamon.
    Put a couple drops of butter on top.
