Sauerkraut & Lima Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lima beans (dry)
    3 lb. pork ribs
    1 onion, quartered
    1 lg. can sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
Preparation
    Put beans and ribs in a large pan.
    Cover with water and cook on low heat for 3 hours or more.
    Add sauerkraut and onion.
    Cook 1/2 hour longer.
    Note:
    Before adding sauerkraut and onion, cool overnight and skim fat.
