3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp. hot water
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten whole
1 tsp. salt
2 (7 oz.) bags bits

Preparation
