Fattigmann - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole egg
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cold water
Preparation
    Beat egg and egg yolk slightly; add sugar and water and beat. Add cardamom to 1/2 cup flour; add this mixture to the beaten eggs. Continue adding flour until the dough handles easily without sticking.
    Roll small portion of dough very thin.
    Cut into diamonds and fry in deep fat.
    Sprinkle with granulated sugar as soon as you remove them from the fat.
