Elephant Ears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 c. Crisco oil
    6 1/2 to 7 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add other ingredients and mix well.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Flatten out with hand to the size of a pancake and fry in deep fat until golden brown. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar or powdered sugar.
