Chops And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 or 6 pork chops
1 tsp. shortening
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 to 5 c. boiled rice
1 c. water
Preparation

Brown chops on both sides.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and water.
Cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes or until chops are tender.
Place rice in center of platter and arrange chops around rice.
Pour tomatoes over chops and rice.
