Ham Burgundy With Onion Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans whole berry cranberry sauce
    1 c. cranberry juice
    4 tsp. prepared mustard
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    2 lb. cooked ham, cubed
    2 c. thinly sliced onions (for rice)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    In a large pot, combine cranberry sauce, cranberry juice, mustard, salt and pepper and cloves.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
    Stir in ham and heat thoroughly.
    Saute onions in butter until tender.
    Pour over cooked rice.
    Serve ham mixture over onion rice.
