Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
2/3 c. oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. raisins
2 to 3 peeled, sliced, chopped apples
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat egg slowly.
Add oil and vanilla, then sugar.
Measure out flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda.
Add to wet ingredients. Finish by adding nuts, raisins and apples.
Batter should be quite stiff.
Put in floured and greased 7 x 10-inch pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Test with toothpick.
