Pennsylvania Dutch Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    1 Tbsp. oil and bacon drippings
    1 (8 oz.) can applesauce
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, undrained and chopped
    1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In skillet, heat bacon drippings or oil and brown pork chops on both sides.
    Combine applesauce, sauerkraut, onion, brown sugar and caraway seed.
    Spoon over chops.
    Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until chops are tender, 35 to 45 minutes.
