Festive Chicken Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer, cut up
2 Tbsp. oil
2/3 c. molasses
1 (8 oz.) can sliced pineapple
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1 can (16 oz.) sweet potatoes, drained
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Dredge chicken in flour. Brown in hot oil.
Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
Combine juice, molasses, mustard and vinegar; mix well.
Place chicken in 3-quart casserole; arrange potatoes around chicken.
Brush with half of sauce.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Uncover and top with pineapple.
Brush with remaining sauce.
Cook 30 minutes more.
Makes 4 servings.
