Banana-Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. mashed bananas (not too ripe)
1 c. pecans, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. soda (mixed in flour)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar, adding eggs, 1 at a time, milk and flour.
Beat after additions, then add bananas and beat.
Then fold in pecans.
Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
