Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    5 c. sliced apples
    1/4 c. water
    butter
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients with the apples.
    Sprinkle with water.
    Dot with butter.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Sift the 1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Cut in the shortening.
    Stir in milk.
    Drop by spoonfuls on hot apples.
    Bake 25 to 35 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
    When cooled, serve with whipped cream, Cool Whip or scoop of ice cream.
    Makes 6 servings.
