Ingredients

1 stick margarine
2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook sugar, margarine and 2 tablespoons milk to a taffy.
Add the 2 cups sweet milk, thickened with 3 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolved in a little of the milk and
3 beaten egg yolks and cook until thick.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Cool and pour into 10-inch cooked pie shell or 9-inch and 6-inch pie shells.
Cover with beaten egg whites and brown.
