Glazed Fruit And Nut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (20 oz.) well chilled refrigerated sugar cookie dough
    3/4 c. dried mixed fruit bits or fruit cake mix
    3/4 c. pecan pieces
    1/4 c. plain flour
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    3 Tbsp. + 1 1/2 tsp. orange juice
    20 drops each green and red food coloring
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, using wooden spoon, stir together sugar cookie dough, fruit bits, pecans and flour. Drop dough mixture by heaping tablespoonful onto cookie sheets. Roll into balls, placing 2 inches apart.
    Bake 12 to 14 minutes, until edges and tops of cookies are light golden brown.
    Let cookies stand 1 minute.
    Transfer to wire racks; cool.
