7-Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1 bell pepper
1 onion
3 ribs celery, cut
1 can English peas
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 lb. bacon, fried crisp
1 carrot, grated
Preparation
-
Shred lettuce; place in bowl.
Layer the onion, bell pepper, carrot, celery and peas last.
Mix together the mayonnaise and sugar; spread over top of salad, sealing around edges.
Put on cheese.
Crumble bacon on top.
Chill.
