Easy Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 heaping c. flour
3 rounded Tbsp. cocoa
3 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 1/2 c. boiling water
3 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Measure and sift the flour, cocoa, soda, baking powder and salt.
Beat shortening and sugar; cream well.
Add alternately with dry ingredients and mix well.
Add buttermilk or sour milk, boiling water and vanilla.
Dough will be thin.
Bake in hot oven at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0.
