Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
pepper
Preparation

Pare potatoes and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
Place in greased 2-quart casserole or baking dish.
In medium saucepan, melt butter.
Add onion and cook until tender.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Remove from heat and stir in milk.
Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens slightly and comes to a boil.
Pour over potatoes, cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake 1 hour longer until potatoes are tender.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
