Russian Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, sliced thin
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth (condensed)
    2 soup cans water
    5 c. green cabbage, coarsely chopped
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 tomatoes, cut up
    1 stalk celery (with leaves), sliced
    2 medium potatoes, cubed
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    sour cream
    parsley
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter in Dutch oven until tender. Add beef broth, water, cabbage, carrots, potatoes and celery.
    Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender.
    Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
    Top each serving with sour cream and garnish with parsley.
