Beef Stew With Olive Oil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    powder or clove
    2 bay leaves
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/2 Tbsp. salt (optional)
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    dash of Season-All or cloves
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    In a heavy, covered saucepan, brown meat very slowly in hot oil for 20 minutes.
    Add spices and cook 2 hours.
    Remove bay leaves, then add diced onion and carrots.
    Cook approximately. Leave liquid as is or remove and thicken.
    (If refrigerated first, additional fat may be skimmed from top.)
