Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple (save juice)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. broken nutmeats
1 egg, beaten well
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugars and egg.
Add dry ingredients and pineapple.
Mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
Frost with mixture of 3/4 cup powdered sugar thinned with pineapple juice saved from can. Drizzle over warm cookies.
