Grandmother Kolowski'S Fried Cabbage And Macaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 head cabbage, sliced thin
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. elbow macaroni or dumplings
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet.
    Saute onions and cabbage for 5 minutes or until tender.
    Cook macaroni in salted boiling water. Drain and add to cabbage.
    Cook 5 minutes longer, stirring frequently.
