Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    4 sq. baking chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg (if desired)
Preparation
    Melt shortening with chocolate squares.
    Blend sugar with beaten eggs; mix well together.
    Add flour, salt, vanilla and nutmeg; stir well.
    Bake in shallow 8 x 12-inch cake pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
