Spicy Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. liquid Butter Buds
2 tsp. basil
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 to 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 can whole tomatoes (and juice)
2 tsp. minced garlic (in a jar)
1 can Hunt's chunky style spaghetti sauce (27 1/4 oz. size)
1 (8 oz. size) can sliced mushrooms, drained
Preparation

Saute onion and garlic in the liquid Butter Buds until onion is golden brown. Add tomatoes and juice, basil, red pepper, mushrooms and the can of spaghetti sauce. Simmer about 15 minutes. You can add ground turkey, seafood or chicken to this sauce and serve over pasta. Yields 6 servings.
