5 Spice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. Minute rice
    1/8 tsp. each thyme, oregano and garlic powder
    1 small bay leaf
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat. Add onion and cook until tender.
    Add seasonings, tomatoes, soup and rice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Spoon into casserole and top with cheese. Place in oven until cheese melts.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
