Homemade Nut Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. lukewarm buttermilk
    1 yeast cake, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix together well, then take it out to floured board.
    Divide into portions and let it stand about 1 hour.
    When risen, roll out.
    Makes 6 to 9 rolls.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes.
