Mama'S Meatballs Over Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 or 2 (No. 2) cans solid packed tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
pinch of basil
1 1/2 c. packaged precooked rice, cooked
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. chopped onion
Preparation

Combine meat, bread crumbs, milk and egg; shape into meatballs.
Brown, then add green pepper, onion, tomatoes and spices.
Simmer until vegetables are done, about 20 minutes. Serve over hot rice.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
