Succotash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 small onion, minced
    10 oz. pkg. frozen baby lima beans
    10 oz. pkg. frozen corn
    3/4 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In Dutch oven over medium heat, cook bacon until browned. Remove and crumble. Set aside.
    In drippings, over medium heat, cook potatoes and onion until onion is tender, stirring often. Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Stir occasionally until potatoes are
    tender and mixture thickens.
    Serve, sprinkled with bacon.
