Toll House Marble Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    6 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 tsp. water
    1 egg
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    6 oz. chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Beat until creamy butter, sugars, vanilla, water and egg. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
    Mix in creamy mixture add nuts.
    Spread in a greased 9 x 13 pan.
    Sprinkle with chocolate morsels.
    Bake at 375 degrees for 1 minute.
    Run knife through dough to marbleize.
    Bake 12 to 14 minutes more.
    Makes 24 squares.
