New Hampshire Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked, mashed squash (1 medium winter squash; Turban squash is excellent
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. sweet or sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of nutmeg and cinnamon
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Butter inside of casserole.
    Mix all ingredients well, except nuts.
    Pour mixture into casserole.
    Sprinkle with the chopped walnuts or pecans.
    (I use more over top.) Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, uncovered.
