Pineapple Dressing For Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. sugar
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
    1/4 c. orange juice
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan.
    Blend in pineapple juice and orange juice.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is clear (about 5 to 8 minutes).
    Slowly stir mixture into beaten eggs.
    Return to saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
    Let cool 5 minutes.
    Beat into cream cheese.
    Chill.
    Yields 2 cups.
