Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Rice Krispies
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    1 pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Combine sugar and syrup in saucepan.
    Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently until mixture begins to bubble.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in peanut butter.
    Mix well.
    Add Rice Krispies.
    Stir until well blended.
    Press into buttered pan (9 x 13-inch).
    Melt chips over hot water, stirring until well blended.
    Spread over mixture.
    Cut into squares.
