Coconut Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 slightly beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients and dash of salt.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and bubbles, about 12 minutes.
Cool slightly.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cool. Frosts two 8-inch layers.
