Never-Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    5 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour and salt until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
    Combine egg, vinegar and water.
    Sprinkle over dry ingredients.
    Mix with a fork.
    Let stand 10 minutes and roll out. Makes 4 crusts.
    (I also use to make my cobblers.)
