Best Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cups plain flour, sifted
    3 cups sugar
    1/2 lb. butter (not margarine)
    6 eggs
    1/2 pint whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour and whipping cream alternately.
    Add vanilla.
    Put into greased, floured tube pan.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees until done (approximately 1 1/2 hours).
