Party Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 c. white flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. light salt or less
2 c. shredded carrots
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges (undrained)
5 egg whites
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients.
Beat 2 minutes at high speed.
Pour into lightly oiled 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean and cake pulls away from sides of pan.
Cool.
Remove from pan after 30 minutes or leave in pan.
Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
