Eggplant Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large eggplant
    1 green pepper
    1 onion, chopped
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 hard-cooked egg
    3 cooked chicken livers
    1 raw egg
    2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
    pinch of cayenne pepper
    salt and pepper
    cracker crumbs
    butter
Preparation
    Boil eggplant in salted water; drain and mash.
    Saute green pepper, onion and celery in butter.
    Add eggplant and cook five minutes.
    Grate hard-cooked egg and chop livers; add to mixture. Stir in raw egg, bread crumbs, cayenne and salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook a few minutes.
    Sprinkle top with cracker crumbs and dot with butter.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Serves 4.
