Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening, melted
    1/2 c. cocoa
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Add cocoa to melted shortening.
    Beat eggs; add to chocolate mixture.
    Sift together the sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients to chocolate mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts. Bake in a 9 x 12-inch pan for 25 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
