Marinated Green Beans And Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans French-cut green beans
    1 large onion, cut into rings
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. shrimp
    2 cloves garlic
Preparation
    Wash and drain beans.
    Boil shrimp with shrimp boil and peel. Boil together sugar, salt, cider and cooking oil.
    Layer beans, onion and shrimp.
    Pour hot mixture over beans, onion and shrimp. Put 2 cloves garlic on toothpicks in beans.
    Remove garlic before serving.
    Marinate for 24 hours.
    Use a deep bowl to make layers.
