Broccoli-Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1 pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped
    1 medium carrot, grated
    2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/2 to 1 lb. American cheese, grated *
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 Tbsp. onion flakes
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a small pan, heat water and bouillon cube to boiling.
    Add broccoli and carrots.
    Cook 5 minutes; remove from heat but do not drain.
    In a large pot, melt butter and slowly stir in the flour. Gradually add milk.
    Cook until thickened.
    Stir in cheese, soup, onion, sauce and pepper.
    Add the broccoli and cheese mixture.
