Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Boil pineapple and sugar, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Dissolve jello in hot water. Combine with pineapple.
    Refrigerate until mixture begins to thicken.
    Fold in sour cream, pecans and cheese.
    Mold and chill before serving.
