Peach Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
4 egg yolks, lightly beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. orange juice
1 1/2 c. chopped peaches
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Soften gelatin in cold water.
In double boiler, combine remaining ingredients.
Cook over boiling water until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
Add 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch to gelatin in water and mix until gelatin dissolves.
Remove from heat and cool.
Beat 4 egg whites until stiff; add 1/2 cup sugar. Fold gelatin mixture into egg whites.
Pour into baked pastry shell; chill until firm.
Top with whipped cream.
